As part of the Year of Working Professions, a press tour for media representatives was organized at Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College. The guests got acquainted with the material and technical base of the educational institution, laboratories, classrooms and professional achievements of the students.
The College is one of the leading educational institutions in the country. This year, the educational institution has achieved significant success: at the WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2024 championship, a college student won a gold medal in the competence of “Mobile application development”. As part of the press tour, the head of the WorldSkills center, Askarbayev Zhandos Samatuly, gave an interview in which he noted the importance of the championship and the high level of student training.
Thanks to these achievements, the TurkicSkills International Championship, which is being held for the first time, will become a platform for college student Shaken Zere to participate in the Graphic Design competence. The head and expert of this competence, Aigerim Bauyrzhanova, gave an interview about the student’s training.
During the press tour, the participants also visited the college’s social partners. Students of the specialty “Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications” undergo an internship at Kazakhtelecom, where they master modern communication technologies. Arnai, also a student of the specialty “Construction and operation of buildings and structures”, practices at the law firm “Senim Joba”, specializing in registration of rights and documents in the construction industry and real estate. This partnership allows students to expand their professional experience and creates competitive advantages for them in the labor market.
The director of the college, Zhangys Nurgozhayev, stressed that the main task of the educational institution is to develop students’ professional skills, provide them with the opportunity to gain work experience and train highly qualified specialists in demand on the labor market.
