Safe, comfortable and modern housing for students

Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College considers one of its main goals to create favorable living conditions for students to fully focus on the educational process. To this end, the college provides students with a comfortable, warm, safe and equipped with all the necessary infrastructure dormitories.

Dormitories are located at 181 and 226 Zhansugurov Street . These buildings are located close to academic buildings, in a convenient and safe area for students’ daily movement.

General facilities of the hostel

The dormitory is a spacious and modern residential building for the majority of students. The total capacity of the dormitory is 400 beds.

The hostel provides:

  • quality mattress
  • clean blanket
  • soft pillow
  • bedspread
  • individual furniture set (bed, wardrobe, table, chair)

Each room is equipped with the basic amenities necessary for a comfortable student life. In addition, common areas (kitchen, laundry rooms, common recreation areas) are designed to fully meet the living needs of students.

Modern new dormitories

In recent years, two new student dormitories have been built in Taldykorgan. They are designed in accordance with modern requirements and equipped with all household needs.

These new buildings:

  • modern renovation
  • heating and security systems
  • comfortable furniture
  • spacious rooms
  • common recreation areas
  • There are areas for cooking.

Journalistic sources describe these dormitories as “a place that has been thought out to the smallest detail, taking into account all the needs of a student.”

Dormitory placement procedure

Dormitory placement for the 2025–2026 academic year will be held on August 28–29.

Application reception location:

The lobby of the “Students’ House” at 226 Zhansugurov Street
(located at the back of the main building). Here, students submit applications, submit necessary documents, and are assigned to rooms. College staff will answer all questions and fully explain the application process.

Required documents:

  1. Copy of ID card — 1 copy
  2. Photo 3×4 — 2 dan
  3. Receipt of payment of dormitory fees for the first semester

If the documents are submitted in full, the student will be officially registered in the dormitory.

Things you should have with you

The dormitory provides students with basic furniture and bedding. However, students must bring their own personal necessities.

Need to get:

  • personal belongings
  • personal hygiene products
  • (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, laundry detergent, towels)
  • cleaning supplies for the room
  • bedding set
  • individual dishes (mug, deep and flat plate, spoon, fork)

These items help make a student’s daily life more comfortable.

Security and order

The dormitory is guarded 24/7, security measures are maintained. The rights and obligations of students are regulated by special rules.

 

The college administration is obliged to ensure the safety, maintenance of order, and comfortable living conditions of students.
