  • Contact higher trade union bodies with proposals to protect the rights and interests of trade union members in state and local government bodies;
  • Represent the interests of employees in collective bargaining, concluding and amending collective agreements, and monitor their implementation;
  • Participate in the preparation and conclusion of industry, regional and other agreements, make suggestions and comments;
  • Submit proposals for candidates for leadership positions in territorial trade union organizations;
  • Use trade union property in the manner prescribed by law and trade union documents;
  • Use the capabilities of territorial trade union organizations to train personnel and activists, and to obtain and disseminate necessary information;
  • Make proposals to hold mass events (rallies, demonstrations, pickets) and collective activities;
  • Contact higher trade union bodies for advice, assistance and support;
  • Make proposals for rewarding and encouraging trade union members.

Responsibilities of the organization:

  • Conduct work to attract workers to join the trade union;
  • To implement the Charter of the trade union, the Charter of the territorial organization of the trade union and the decisions of trade union bodies within the limits of their competence;
  • Develop, conclude and monitor the implementation of a collective agreement, as well as agreements on the regulation of social and labor relations;
  • Take part in organizing and conducting collective actions to protect the rights and interests of trade union members;
  • Maintain financial discipline and ensure timely transfer of funds for the needs of the organization;
  • Monitor the timeliness and completeness of the transfer of membership fees by the employer;
  • Submit statistical data, financial statements and other information to higher trade union bodies in accordance with established forms;
  • Submit issues proposed by higher trade union organizations for consideration at meetings (conferences) and collegial bodies;
  • Avoid actions that are detrimental to the trade union or its organizations.

Structure and management system

The primary trade union organization of Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College consists of members elected at a meeting of the college’s Pedagogical Council. The committee includes representatives from various departments and divisions of the college.

The committee chair is Indira Tursunovna Zhumabekova. She coordinates the activities of the trade union organization, organizes events to protect the rights and interests of union members, monitors the implementation of collective agreements, and maintains close ties with higher-level trade union bodies.

    • Conducting sports competitions, contests and reviews to strengthen team spirit;
    • Formation of corporate culture and a positive moral and psychological climate within the team.

4. Legal and information support

    • Consulting trade union members on labor legislation and improving their legal literacy.
