Medical assistance
- Provides primary pre-medical medical care to students and staff.
- Conducts health assessments in cases of acute illnesses, injuries and accidents.If necessary, calls an ambulance and participates in accompanying the injured.
- Monitors the condition of students with chronic diseases.
Preventive activities
- Conducts preventive examinations of students.
- Participates in the prevention of infectious diseases, conducts morning filter.
- Conducts health education work (healthy lifestyle, personal hygiene, prevention of bad habits).
- Participates in the organization and control of vaccination prevention (in collaboration with medical organizations).
Sanitary and hygienic control
- Monitors compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards in classrooms, dormitories, and cafeterias.
- Participates in inspections of students’ learning and living conditions.
- Monitors the availability and condition of first aid kits.
Documentation and accounting
- Maintains medical records in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepares medical certificates, registration logs of visits and examinations.
- Provides accounting, storage and control of expiration dates of medicines.
- Complies with the requirements of medical confidentiality and personal data.
Interaction and organizational work
- Interacts with medical organizations, emergency services, and the Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Informs the college administration about the health status of students within the limits of their competence.
- Participates in health and safety committees.
Emergencies and safety
- Provides assistance in emergency situations, injuries, and mass illnesses.
- Participates in the development and implementation of measures to protect the life and health of students.
- Conducts first aid training for students and staff.
