A student of Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College, Bolatkhan Ayan Berikzhanuly, won second place at the regional qualifying stage of the international “AITU KazRoboDrone 3.0” competition in drone racing and aeromodelling.
The competition was held for the first time in the city of Taldykorgan at the Jetisu Digital IT-HUB venue. The event aimed to assess the level of professional training, engineering thinking, and proficiency in modern technologies among young engineers studying in IT and technical fields.
Bolatkhan Ayan competed in the “Drone Racing Simulator” category in the Senior age group (16–21 years). According to the competition results, he demonstrated high technical accuracy and consistent performance, outperforming 126 participants and was awarded a second-degree diploma.
The competition was jointly organized by Astana IT University, the Kazakhstan Engineering Research and Development Center, and Astana Daryny. The main objective of the event is to promote innovative technologies among young people in engineering and technical fields, as well as to identify and support promising drone pilots. Such competitions contribute to the development of practical skills, the enhancement of professional competence, and increased interest in high-tech industries.
