On November 10, 2025, history teachers and moderators Zharkyn Ashirzhanovna Baitogaeva and Ainur Daribekovna Karimova, together with members of the Atamura circle, held a dialogue platform, “Symbol of Heroism and Knowledge,” dedicated to the life and legacy of Malik Gabdullin, a hero and talented writer who extolled the spirit of knowledge and heroism. The event, timed to coincide with the 110th anniversary of his birth, was held.
The main goal of the dialogue platform was to show the younger generation an example of heroism and wisdom, knowledge and morality, and to strengthen patriotic values through the teachings of this historical figure. At the end of the event, the participants noted that Malik Gabdullin’s life is a role model for today’s younger generation, and his legacy is a priceless treasure that elevates the national spirit.
The “Symbol of Heroism and Knowledge” dialogue platform, organized for the 110th anniversary of Malik Gabdullin’s birth, became an educational event aimed at promoting the spiritual legacy of the “child of the century.” The life of this hero, outstanding figure of Kazakh literature, scholar, and educator, Malik Gabdullin, is a lofty example of selfless service to the Motherland, devotion to the people, knowledge, and courage.
During the dialogue, scholars focused on the periods that contributed to M. Gabdullin’s development as a historical figure and discussed the significance of his scientific and pedagogical work in the national education system. The data and reports presented demonstrated the value of the hero’s heroic deeds during the Great Patriotic War and his post-war work in science and culture for the country’s development.
During the event, Malik Gabdullin’s works “My Frontline Friends” and “Kazakh Folk Literature” were analyzed separately, and his contributions to literary studies were comprehensively explored. Participants shared their thoughts on the hero’s military exploits, his teaching activities, his contributions to the education of the younger generation and to science, and provided a comprehensive insight into his personality.
This dialogue platform, held as part of the 110th anniversary celebrations, became not only a historical event but also an important educational undertaking aimed at spiritually enriching the younger generation, deepening their knowledge of the country’s history, and instilling in them the example of figures like Malik Gabdullin.
