Kazakh colleges and the Chinese educational institution Zhejiang College of Security Technology held an important strategic meeting.
The result was an agreement on the opening of artificial intelligence (AI) laboratories and the introduction of a new specialty “Artificial Intelligence” at Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College.
The meeting participants discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of digital education, the exchange of experience in modern technologies and the development of joint projects.
“As part of this cooperation, academic mobility programs will be launched, internship and exchange opportunities for students and teachers will be expanded. It is also planned to implement joint educational and scientific projects,” said Akzira Kasymova, Deputy Director of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Special attention will be paid to the professional development of teachers, the development of competencies in the field of artificial intelligence and the introduction of international educational standards. This partnership will strengthen educational ties between Kazakhstan and China, and give impetus to new professional opportunities and training for students from the two countries.
