To promote students’ digital creativity, teachers of Department No. 2 of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, A.S. Uzbanova and M.D. Zholdassova, organized a creative competition titled AI-HACKATHON: “Creating Multimedia Content Using Artificial Intelligence” among second-year students of groups SW-415b, SW-425b, and SW-51b.
The main goal of the event was to teach students the integrated use of artificial intelligence tools such as Grok, PixVerse, Suno AI, and CapCut, as well as to increase interest in their future profession through the creation of digital animation and video content.
During the event, participants were assigned one of three topics by lottery, based on which they were required to develop modern video content.
The participants prepared projects in the following areas:
• “If Objects Could Talk…” – creating a multimedia story in which everyday objects such as books, phones, computers, pens, and others “come to life” and “speak.”
• “Mukagali Makatayev: Poetry Brought to Life with AI” – creating an animated video clip based on the poet’s works using artificial intelligence technologies.
• “Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College: The Future Starts Here” – presenting the college’s image, specialties, and student life in the format of a modern music video.
During the hackathon, students used artificial intelligence tools to bring their creative ideas to life and demonstrated new possibilities for creating digital media content.
At the end of the competition, students who achieved the best results were awarded prizes, and their projects received high praise. Such events contribute to the development of students’ professional skills and their growth as future specialists.
