WORLDSKILLS POLYTECHNIC
WorldSkills Polytechnic is an intra-college (qualifying) stage of the WorldSkills championship movement, which has been held at the Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College since 2018 .
This stage is the first link in a long journey leading to regional, national, and international professional skills competitions. Its main goal is to identify talented and promising students ready to demonstrate professional skills according to WorldSkills International standards .
Since the first WorldSkills Polytechnic in 2018, the college has annually organized internal competitions among students in key competencies:
- Information Technology ,
- Web design and development ,
- Graphic design ,
- and other areas of technical and service profile.
The best participants, based on the results of the internal college selection, represent the college at the regional WorldSkills Zhetisu Oblysy championship , where they annually take prize places and confirm their high level of training.
The organization and conduct of WorldSkills Polytechnic allow students to:
- develop professional and communication skills;
- work with modern equipment and software;
- increase motivation for learning and career growth;
- gain experience in competition and self-presentation;
- to develop self-confidence and a desire for leadership.
Taldykorғan zhoғary politechnicalық kollegі actively supports the international movement WorldSkills Kazakhstan , works according to WorldSkills standards and since 2018 has been one of the permanent participants and technical partners of regional championships.
Today, WorldSkills Polytechnic is more than just a competition; it is part of a system of professional development for students, an important step toward their future careers and recognition of their skills at the national and global levels.
