DEMONSTRATION EXAM

A demonstration exam is a modern form of assessing students’ professional competencies. The exam is conducted in conditions as close as possible to real production and allows us to assess the student’s ability to apply acquired theoretical knowledge in practice.

 

This format is based on WorldSkills Kazakhstan standards and aims to test professional skills in accordance with international requirements.

TARGET

  • Independent assessment of the level of professional training of students;
  • Identification of practical skills that meet production standards;
  • Improving the quality of education and ensuring the competitiveness of graduates in the labour market.

ORGANIZING THE EXAM

  • The demonstration exam is conducted on the basis of modern training and production workshops and laboratories of the Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College .
  • The examination process is carried out according to a set of competencies and assessment criteria developed in accordance with WorldSkills requirements.
  • The assessment process involves employers, independent experts, and experienced college teachers, ensuring the objectivity and transparency of the results.

All results are entered into a special CIS (Competition Information System) , which guarantees independent and open evaluation.

DOCUMENTS USED

The demonstration exam is conducted in accordance with the following regulatory documents and methodological recommendations:

  • Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 726 of October 12, 2021 – “National Project “Quality Education – Educated Nation”” ;
  • Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 125 dated March 18, 2008 – “Standard rules for conducting ongoing monitoring, midterm and final certification of students” ;
  • “Methodological recommendations for organizing and conducting a demonstration exam” (Astana, 2024);
  • WorldSkills Kazakhstan standards .
