Startup academy
Mission
Supporting young entrepreneurs and developing innovative ideas among students and youth. The program aims to train specialists capable of independent thinking, adaptive decision‑making, and creating innovative products.
Objectives
- Training in business planning, pitching, and commercialization.
- Building a student startup ecosystem and supporting creative initiatives.
- Helping transform ideas into real products or services.
- Presenting projects at competitions, forums, and exhibitions.
- Developing entrepreneurial skills through real practice.
Functions of the Academy
- Conducting seminars and masterclasses with experienced entrepreneurs.
- Project support at all stages from idea to implementation.
- Preparing presentation materials for competitions and exhibitions.
- PR support and promotion of successful startups.
Achievements
On December 1, 2023, at the Republican Grand Tournament “Men Kasipkermin”
Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College student Dastan Demeubekov won 3rd place with his “Hydro” project!
In 2024, within the Digital Jetisu Forum
Asel Kulyntaeva, Head of Startup Projects at Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College, was awarded in the nomination “Best Startup Culture Mentor” with a certificate amounting to 100,000 KZT.
On December 9, 2024, at the Republican Anti‑Corruption Projects Competition
Asel Kulyntaeva and Zhuldyz Tokanova took 2nd place with their project “Antikor 24”, winning 150,000 KZT!
Akzhol Menlibai, a student of Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College
completed the Jetisu Digital incubation program with his innovative project “Aninobe” and took 1st place at Demo Day, receiving 150,000 KZT.
On December 16, at the Jetisu Digital Hackathon dedicated to Kazakhstan Independence Day
the “Cyclone” student team took 3rd place and won 100,000 KZT.
