Certification of teaching staff

At Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College, certification of teaching staff is carried out with the aim of improving professional skills, disseminating advanced teaching practices, and fairly assessing the work of teachers.

Certification is an important process aimed at determining the level of professional competence of a teacher, his or her achievements in educational activities and ability to apply modern innovative teaching methods.

Based on the results of certification, teaching staff are assigned the following qualification categories :

  • Teacher
  • Teacher-moderator
  • Expert teacher
  • Teacher-researcher
  • Master teacher

Each category reflects the level of professional growth of a teacher, their contribution to the development of education, and also gives the right to receive appropriate bonuses and incentives.

The certification process at the college is carried out in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 27, 2016 No. 83 “On approval of the rules and conditions for the certification of teaching staff” .

This regulatory document defines the certification procedure, requirements for teachers, as well as the criteria for assessing their professional activities.

Certification includes several stages:

  1. Submission of an application by a teacher;
  2. Presentation of a portfolio and results of professional activities;
  3. Evaluation of teacher knowledge through testing;
  4. Review of materials by the certification committee and decision-making.

Certification not only contributes to an objective assessment of a teacher’s level, but also to their personal growth, professional development, and motivation to introduce innovations into the educational process.
