Project work \u201cVirtual Reality Exhibition\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On November 11, 2025, Gulsara Tleubergenovna Bakaeva, an English teacher at Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College, conducted an open lesson on &#171;Virtual Reality Exhibition&#187; using CLIL technology for group SW-512b. The lesson aimed to develop students&#8217; professional English vocabulary, expand their knowledge of virtual reality (VR), and develop their creativity through project work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the lesson, the teacher provided students with basic information about VR technology and introduced them to key terminology. A distinctive feature of the CLIL method was the simultaneous development of subject knowledge and language skills during the lesson. Students learned about the types of VR exhibitions and their applications, and also practiced relevant English vocabulary.<br>The main part of the lesson was project-based. Students were divided into several groups and developed their own project, &#171;Virtual Reality Exhibition.&#187; Each group prepared sections such as the exhibition concept, its title, content, objects presented in the virtual space, and the purpose of the exhibition. The groups presented their materials in the form of posters, slides, or virtual concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The open lesson focused on the comprehensive development of students&#8217; independent thinking, teamwork, language communication skills, and creativity. Furthermore, the lesson was fully interactive, with students discussing real-life applications of technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of the lesson, the students defended their projects in English. Each group presented the structure, idea, and advantages of their exhibition, demonstrating the importance and usefulness of the &#171;Virtual Reality Exhibition&#187; projects.
